Janet Clarey is a manager in Learning & Development Research at Bersin by Deloitte where she has done work in the area of learning culture, high-impact learning organization maturity, and learning management systems. In the 2 ½ years before rejoining Bersin by Deloitte in 2015, Clarey was responsible for developing the Guild Academy and Learning Exchange with additional oversight of the research and publications function for the eLearning Guild. With more than fifteen years in the L&D profession, Clarey previously served as a senior analyst for Bersin from 2010 through 2013 and has also held positions at Brandon Hall Research and Utica National Insurance Group. Clarey holds a B.A. in Communications from the State University of New York at Oswego and a master’s degree in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University. She has also completed coursework toward a doctorate from Syracuse University in Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation. Clarey works out of Deloitte’s New York office and lives in Clinton, New York.
